大家來作vertebroplasty

影像科，以前叫做放射線科，現在跑到第一線，又叫做介入影像醫學科，這是繼疼痛科，神經外科，骨科外，又有一個學科近來搶食這塊大餅！


為甚麼要扯到這個議題呢？君不見二線科醫師要想出頭天，不想辦法鑽到一線來，那是永遠沒有出路的。幕後英雄沒有掌聲就罷了，沒有叮噹聲，就苦一點也可以接受，如果沒有尊嚴，那是孰可忍孰不可忍！

椎體成型術三振出局！？


A Randomized Trial of Vertebroplasty for Painful Osteoporotic Vertebral Fractures. NEJM 2009;6:557

前幾個月，做了一個vertebroplasty麻醉，術後病人醒來，由於經皮操作，創傷面小，麻醉也上的不深，一直嘟噥，只覺得眼睛眯了一下，不相信手術已經做好了，直誇醫師技術好。那知隔天同事告知該病患回病房3~4小時候，就喊999急救，同事跑上去幫忙插管，最後還是回天乏術。所以，看到這則報導，深有所感。
